TO ACHIEVE THE COMMON GOALS BETWEEN BOTH PARTIES AND ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF SERVICES PROVIDED TO CHILDREN AMAN CENTER AND THE MOROCCAN BAYTI ASSOCIATION
The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center "AMAN", a center governed by the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, signed a cooperation protocol with the Moroccan Bayti Association, which is specialized in child protection.
The cooperation agreement aims at strengthening the bonds of cooperation between both parties and to achieve their common goals by creating a sustainable and practical framework between them to enhance the quality of services provided to children, and to support the capabilities of regional and national partners through a sustainable program that provides the highest levels of care and social protection to children.
The Moroccan Bayti Association is a non-profit, non-governmental association interested in achieving the public benefit of issues related to children, with 26 years of experience in the field of protection and family, school and professional reintegration, and providing all support and rehabilitation for children and youth.
Pursuant to this agreement, cooperation between both parties will be activated by organizing joint events for children, and conducting several awareness campaigns, workshops and training courses to develop the competencies of both parties to serve the targeted groups, and achieve the parties' mission for providing protection and social rehabilitation. In addition, scientific research will be developed by supporting strategic partnerships with institutions, organizations and research centers to benefit from their specialized programs of common interest to both parties.
In this context, Mr. Abdul Aziz Al Ishaq, CEO of AMAN Center, expressed the importance of signing a cooperation protocol with the Moroccan Bayti Association, which is specialized in child protection. This agreement will contribute to the exchange of experiences between both parties, transferring the experience of both parties in the mechanism of providing protection to children according to the perspective and laws of each country, and development and innovation in launching events, campaigns and training workshops for social protection workers on issues related to children.
In this context, Mrs. Amina Lamlih, director of Bayti Association, expressed “the importance of activating the international partnership, because such agreements and cooperation protocols contribute to achieving both parties' vision, mission and strategic goals, which are to achieve protection and rehabilitation for the targeted groups. Today, the child is the mainstay for building society, and it is our responsibility, as civil society organizations, to cooperate to provide social protection for children."
It is worth noting that the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center "AMAN" is concerned with protecting and rehabilitating women and children victims of violence and family breakdown, and reintegrating them into society.
